First time on this trail, Longer than I anticipated — false peaks fooled me — cold and windy ++ some snow on trail — lost
Had the trail to ourselves. Snow about 1-2 miles to the peak Such beautiful day.
This is the 3rd time I have hiked up High Point. First time was in fall. Lots of amazing fall colors, but I got hit
walked on at least a mile of snow about 4″ deep mostly packed down easy to walk on, some mud near top, first 2 miles
Ice still on the trees and falling from the tower. sections of snow to cross on the last mile to the top.
The trail was clear outside of a bit of snow. The snow was the icing on top of this trail. It’s a lovely little haul
