High Point

The first 2 miles are grueling but after that the climb to the peak was challenging but very manageable. Even hit some patches of snow

Fresh snow had fallen the night before so micro spikes most of the day. Only prints in the snow were from early morning birds

Snow at the summit we have to wear our crampons.

The  trail has some pretty deep ruts, a few small water crossings from the snow melting runoff but easily doable. Hard packed snow starts abt

Snow at the summit we have to wear our crampons. It was so nice to experience using crampons for the first time, heavy and tiring

The hike was longer than I remembered from last year.  Lots of snow along the way! 🙂
