Mount Woodson

Ran into Danny that we befriended at El Cajon Mountain 🙂 Steep and mostly paved service road-hard on knees. Perfect weather for an early afternoon

I wanted to switch up the hike to Mount Woodson, so I turned it into a longer, unofficial “loop” hike…which wasn't the most genius idea.

The backside is shorter, but steeper. Two miles up a paved utility road. The view is gorgeous with huge boulders. You may see rock climbers

A Short and easy hike

Was a little warm but nice.  Was a good little workout and there wasn’t A lot of people waiting to take pics with the rock.
