Volcan Mountain

Summited Volcan Mountain after Cuyamaca.  Trail was basic, but windy and rainy in parts.  No visibility at top.

Was not prepared for how cold and windy it was going to be when we got to the summit but 100% worth it!

Great hike. Some areas had some rough inclines, but overall was a decent hike to start the challenge. Because scenery of both west into the

Stunning view once up top, seeing the other mountains and even the desert a bit

the weather was clear and sunny with a breeze. My favorite thing was the intermittent patches of shade.

Was a pretty easy-going hike, met a great couple with who I wound up hiking Mt. Viejas with!  The best way up and down is
