Volcan Mountain

This was a warmup for Cuyamaca that we did next that day.  It is a really short quick up and down.  5 miles in 1

It was beautiful day to hike this trail. It was cooler weather but the sun was out. A little bit of ice on the trail.

Perfect weather. The oaks trail was a gorgeous trail. Went up that and down the service road. Windy at the top. Saw a deer. Beautiful

The first mile was straight uphill but once you get past the burn, it was a fairly easy hike. Took the Five Oaks Trail on
