Volcan Mountain

Good weather, nice and green, good visibility to Salton Sea. Poppies in bloom at summit.

Cold, cloudy, low visibility, but beautiful winter solitude none the less.  Pretty chill walk up to the top with interspersed snow patches.  Easy day, unsure

Nature was calling, and Volcan Mountain Wilderness was open.  It was a beautiful sunny day though it was quite windy at the top!

This was our second time hiking Volcan Mountain this year, but the first since accepting this challenge. Didn’t mind too much though because it’s a
