Just over a year since my plantar fasciitis was triggered on this hike, and 9 weeks since the surgery to resolve it, I climbed back
I hiked up the 5 oak trail which is very nice and provides a lot of shade, but some parts were overgrown with white sage,
Views were spectacular from the summit. I use the Five Oaks trail on the way down and  it’s a beautiful alternative as well.
