A nice warm-up hike when I am in the neighborhood. Added the small detour via five oak trail for a change in view.
Great hiking conditions (temps in low 60's). Wore lots of layers. Clouds/fog obscured views on the way up. Had some views on the way down.Â
We did the Five Oats side trail. This is one of the most beautiful hikes in SD County. Beautiful wildflowers, not a lot but some.
