Started the hike midday on the main trail. Lots of parked cars along the side road at this time. Sunny weather not hot. Steep ascent

A nice warm-up hike when I am in the neighborhood. Added the small detour via five oak trail for a change in view.
Great hiking conditions (temps in low 60's). Wore lots of layers. Clouds/fog obscured views on the way up. Had some views on the way down.
