Mount Diablo

The weather was very cold, a little mud, but nice in general. I hiked with one friend, and we encounter  wild turkeys in our way

I hiked from Mitchell Canyon Staging to Tein Peaks, to Eagle Peak, and finally the Mount Diablo Summit. There were a lot of slippery muddy

Great hike, went up via Prospectors Gap to Summit trail, two trees down on Summit trail easy to get around.  Travelled down via the fire

Rain and wind for most of the hike.  Saw a few mountain bikers braving the elements but no other hikers until I was nearly back

Hiked the summit and hung out at the historical area there, the history of Diablo is so fascinating!   Hiked back down and tent camped at

I hiked Diablo with a group of friends on Jan. 12, 2019. After all the rain it wasn’t too muddy. Great day.
