Mount Baldy

I was invited to hike with a group of badass hikers and climbers. Up the Ski Hut trail and a little break in the hut.

Climbed up baldy bowl. Needed crampons and ice axe. Went down via ski hut trail.

Good snow hike with two friends new to mountaineering. Spent some time instructing them in crampon use / snow travel and self arrest / ice

Got to the packed parking lot at about 7:00am and met with a stranger who became a friend.  We went up to the ski hut

It was a great summit on Baldy Sunday Lots of powdery snow .Temperatures not to bad and wind not to bad .Great Hike
