I decided to make this a backpack to summit Ontario Peak and Cucamonga Peak. I hiked from the trailhead to Kelly's Camp on August 8.
We started at 5am and were in the dark for the first hour. It had been a while since I hiked in the dark so
Beautiful day, weather was perfect. Feeling accomplished and Tired????. A lot of shaded areas???? last 3miles to the peak was exposed.
The plan was to do San G, but Apple fire kept us out. I am logging this, but really want to complete the original six!
We started at 5:45 Â Parking lot was full. It was a long beautiful hike . Lots of hikers today .
Quite a lengthy hike but fantastic views of surrounding peaks! Snagged Bighorn on the way to Ontario. I really do love a Tuesday hike.
