San Bernardino Peak

Started at 5am.  Nice cool on the way up. Saw no one on trail until I started down.

Great summit with friends. A long, gradual incline to the summit. Perfect weather. No wind.

Tackled San Bernardino Peak as an overnight. Great weather and terrific views. Gnats were a bit of a bother in some parts. No critters bigger

After several months off of the challenge avoiding the Summer heat and some other commitments I have made my return on San Bernardino Peak! I

No doubt – this was a tough hike for #9 of the quest to finish all 12- almost 20 miles, and 5253′ of elevation gain.
