Left Redrock Flat at 3:00 a.m. for sunrise. Extremely windy hike and summit so we did not stay long. A few backpackers at the top

San Gorgonio – #16 / 18. Butterflies at the peak. For about 30 minutes at the peak, there were a ton of butterflies!Â
Decided on a solo summit! Weather was perfect and Monarchs were out in full force at the top! Took me 9 hours and 30 minutes
We got an early start to this long day. We started at 05:45 from the South Fork trail head. The trail is very well marked
