San Gorgonio

This was a challenging but great hike. The weather was nice, although hot at the bottom during the descent. I saw a bat eat a

overnite at high creek camp to do a gear shakedown as part of training and prep for a week in the Yosemite backcountry next month.

Started out a 4:30 am to beat the heat at the lower levels and give us plenty of time to summit.  The weather was perfect

Trail was clear, only small patches of snow up top. Weather was fantastic, warm but not too hot up top. Nice cool breeze. Started at

Buddy and I hit the trail at 11 pm to beat the heat and catch the sunrise at the peak.  Amazing views all directions up
