Brought the big 4×4 Jeep and they wouldn’t let us in due to impending storm. Our only choice was to start the 24.1 mile hike
What a long day complete with off roading, a closed gate that added 2 extra miles to our hike and coming up to the trail
The drive to and from the trailhead is more concerning than the hike which is a comfortable gradual incline along a dirt road.

The drive is really a tough dirt road. We ended up parking on the side of the dirt road and walked about 3 miles before
