Santiago Peak

I finally checked this Peak off my list. We bagged Modjeska ans Santiago Peaks. It's not my favorite,  as most of it is fire road.

One of the few lower peaks where on a clear day you get gorgeous views of parts of San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange Counties all

From Maple Springs trailhead you will need a 4 wheel drive to reach the dirt parking lot at the start. From there it’s a 5

This was my second time up Santiago Peak.  Last time was on the Holy Jim Trail.  However, this time the Holy Jim Trail was closed. 

Super dusty unpaved road not a trail, buggy, exposed.

First time on this trail.  We were in a jeep so got close to the trailhead.  Less than 10 miles.  Not too strenuous.  Nice views
