Beautiful late Fall day for a hike.  The dirt road is in pretty good shape with a fair amount of traffic.  The trail has good

Dad said “this will not be too long…”   However, we made a mistake and hiked from the first trailhead and ended up hiking 11 miles! 

So…. we were going to hike Baden-Powell, but the highway was closed, so ended up at SP. A long day as we parked way too

The first challenge begins before you even get out of the car, the road to the trailhead is rocky and bumpy. I recommend high clearance,
