This is an interesting peak because you walk 2.5 miles only gaining ~500 feet of altitude, followed by 1.1 miles of 1200 feet (really ~1400

A pretty easy hike until the last mile of up.  Took us 2 hours to summit.  Started early 6:40 and was back to the car

Trail was easy to follow and well marked.  Some minor rock scrambling on final push to the top. Be mentally prepared for the several false

Started around 6:30 from Red Box. Seeing sunrise from the trail was great experience!

It wasn’t our favorite out of all the peaks in the challenge but it’ll do for now until the snow melts off the bigger ones.
