Ultimate Hiking Adventure in Patagonia

In March 2024, we took a group of Social Hikers down to Patagonia for eight days of epic hikes, breathtaking exploration, tasty food and first-class accommodations. It's still winter up here in the northern hemisphere, but down in Patagonia, it's their summertime–the perfect time to explore these fantastic mountains.

I thought this might be a one-time trip. It's a long way to travel, after all. But we had such an amazing time, we are going back again, and you can join!

When: December 10-17, 2025
Where: We fly into El Calafate, then transfer to El Chalten for the majority of our time. This is a village within the Los Glaciares National Park, and our basecamp for adventure. We'll be staying in 4-star hotels and have a choice of international cuisine in the local restaurants.

The Itinerary

We are following the same itinerary we used last year, including hikes to Mirador de Los Condores y Aguilas, Laguna de Los Tres, and Loma del Pliegue Tumbado (that's last year's group on that hike in the photo at the top).

On top of this, you'll have a chance to climb the Via Ferrata and trek on the Petito Moreno glacier. And you'll have a blast with your new Social Hiker friends. We just met up in Utah with Damon and Joanne, who we met in person on last year's Patagonia trip.
