Forgot how hard is the hike,stepping and stepping after the Sierra hut.Then sand,gravel and closer to the lake crossing screes.It’s not long of a hike but it seems like a long one.Not much traffic on my way up ,going down 2 groups made their way up.Best weather for this hike.

    Gorgeous with the pink snowfields intermixed with the flowers! Classic Sierra/Cascades type beauty! Looks like a very fun day!
