Hiked with a group

7/13/2025. Parking fee is now required by the trailhead parking lot. Roadside is free; just be there at the earliest time to get a spot. Saw quite a large portion of the burnt areas from the previous wildfires that caused the closure of the trail for a while. BP remains one of my faves & another perfect day to be hiking it on this hot day with the pine trees giving ample shades.
