Walking through the meadow was a breeze.  Hiking along the rocks and tree limbs was tougher.  Above tree line was absolutely brutal with horrendous wind.  Or so I thought…..and then the wind got worse.  WOW!  One minute it was sunny; the next you were in the clouds.  It was difficult to stand let alone hike and watch foot placement.  Lots of people were on the peak today despite the wind.  It was a beautiful day (for the most part)!  There are a couple of rock walls built up at the summit so that’s nice for enjoying lunch up there while you wait out the clouds.  Beautiful views to the Grand Canyon and all around!
