Finally #5!

After a painfully long hiatus, I finally got back to completing the San Diego Challenge today.  It was a little hotter than I like, but I started at dawn and it was manageable.  I have hiked this trail before and I love how isolated and relatively deserted it is.  The first time I hiked it, I was the only person on the trail the whole time.  This this I had the trail to myself on the way up and had the peak to myself.  Another hiker summited just as I was leaving and I passed 2 other hiking groups on my way down.  I love that there are still trails in SoCal where you can barely see another human when hiking on a weekend!
