Fremont Finale

We hiked to the saddle after completing Flatiron, so we went “slow and steady.” I stopped a fair amount on the way up to take photos and just take a look around at it all. So beautiful!

I loved the views from the trail, of course, the grand finale of all summit views for the entire challenge: Weaver’s Needle.

I felt the most free this hike. Happy to finish the challenge with our 6th peak but also just grateful to have spent the last three days adventuring in the outdoors exploring new trails.

As I was heading back, I found this rock on the trail about a 1/4 mile from the parking lot:

“The greatest adventure is what lies ahead”

I couldn’t have said it better myself.
