Hiked with a partner

A perfect way to finish off the week. Mount Tamalpais, without a doubt is my favorite of the San Francisco Bay Area Six Pack of Peaks Challenge.

My hiking partner, Crystal, and I arrived early and started early. We made quick work of the hike, covering about 18 miles and just over 4200 feet in elevation gain in just under 7 hours.

The trail was awesome, especially on the descent. The Steep Ravine Trail was everything I heard it was. Lots of forest, water, bridges, blowdowns and huge trees. We had perfect temps for today’s hike and finished the day at the beach having a burger and an ice cream.
