Wildflowers blooming

A great day to hike Mt. Bachelor with cloud cover and a breeze. Trail is in good condition with several small snowfields to cross. Used poles and carried micro spikes, but didn’t get them out. Scattered wildflowers and lots of butterflies. Regularly encountered hikers, but not crowded. Enjoyed the mountain views from the top.

    Congratulations, Jill!

    We got back from Colorado on Tuesday, but I’m leaving to backpack in the Sawtooth Mountains tomorrow morning. Hope to catch up with the Bend Hiking Meetup when I get back after the 10th.
