Mt. Diablo Madness!

Hiked Six Peaks of Mt. Diablo in a clockwise loop, encompassing Mt. Olympia, North Peak, Mt. Diablo summit, Eagle Peak, and Twin Peaks with my group. Weather was great! We’ve done this hike before during the summer, but it is much more enjoyable not having to worry about the strong sun. Beautiful views at the top and lots of wildflowers scattered throughout the mountain. There IS water refill at the summit as well a small gift shop to buy snacks (even ice cream!) and drinks. But we packed our lunches and had a great day! Tough, technical hike, but great training for us as we prepare to hike the Grand Canyon and Kumano Kodo in the spring. Happy Trails!
