Mt. Tamalais

We hit the trail around 6:15 am and caught a beautiful sunrise once we were above the fog layer. Looking down at the layer of fog was amazing. It looked like a blanket of cotton balls with Sutro Tower in San Francisco poking through the blanket. I’m glad we started early because the perfect weather became a lil warm towards the end. Great trail! I recommend to start as early as possible before too many people get out there. The summit can become pretty crowded in the later hours of the day as I have experienced before on this hike.
