The trail was in great condition, the weather was divine. Four or five people were headed down as I was headed up, and I had the summit all to myself for about an hour. As I headed down, five people were nearing the summit. This was the best of my Black Crater hikes and I look forward to more.

    Fantastic, Lisa! I got turned around by snow when I attempted this one a few months ago (one person in our group was wearing Chacos ????). Need to go back at summit.

    I have to say though, it’s kinda weird seeing the cascades so DRY! 🙁
