Great day out at Sutton Mountain. Super quiet. Didn’t see anyone until the last 10 minutes of the hike and suddenly passed 8 hikers as we were just about back at our vehicle. No wildflowers, but the views were stunning. Nice grade on an old two-lane jeep trail. Path was dry and easy to follow.

Definitely recommend stopping at Tiger Brewing in Mitchell, as well as the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument – Painted Hills Unit while you’re out here.
