Tom Hawley held a potluck at the top of Mt. Charleston every year.  He passed away last year at age 60 after hiking the peak 60 times.  This year we held a memorial potluck at the peak in his honor.  I did the superloop – all the way round from Echo up South Loop to the peak and down North Loop to Echo again.  It’s 18 miles and 5,100 ft of gross gain that way.  4h 40m up and 3h 35m down.
