This was the first peak we attempted and it was the perfect one to start with! The trail is not bad but the majority of the elevation gain is at the end so be ready!
We started our hike around 6:30am and I would definitely recommend an early start. The weather was gorgeous (not too hot, despite zero shaded areas on the trail) and we only saw a few others hiking the trail on our way up. We passed a lot more hikers on our way down so I’m glad we beat the traffic!
