Perfect day in Vegas!  Sunny, 70 degrees with a nice breeze when we needed it. And we needed it!  It was definitely a technical hike and it was that last 1/2 mile that was steep and a bit challenging.  We used gloves – those rocks are non forgiving and poles on the way down.  We encountered a few other hikers but the trail was pretty quiet.  Trail is very well marked in the beginning, but the last 1/2 mile is a guess at best.  We lost our way a bit coming down and that’s where it got a bit hairy.  All good though and it was an awesome hike!
