Central Coast
Hello! I am hoping to get some recommendations of where to camp while hiking the Central Coast peaks. I can easily go from very minimal(however, a shower would be terrific) up to a tent trailer. Let me know if you have any great camping spots. Alternatively, if you have a great Airbnb suggestions, that is also an option that I am considering.

Hi Dena! I’m just now seeing this post. Curious if you got the answers you were looking for. I’ve done the CC challenge twice, but I’ve only camped up there twice. I car camped at the Gaviota Peak Trailhead and I stayed at the Selby Campground (dry camping) with my 18-foot trailer for a few days to do Caliente Mountain. It is a first come first serve campsite. So I went up the day before my hike and then stayed one extra night after the hike. There are picnic tables and toilets as well. Hope that helps. 🙂
