First hike of the AZ Winter challenge and first time at Fremont Saddle with the main “reward” being Weavers needle at the peak.

Fairly rocky hike with the first mile having moderate shady areas as you slowly incline. The other 1.5 miles has a moderate incline with small to medium sized boulders and sides of the mountain on the way. Also, minimal shade. Considering winter is still non existent and clear sunny skies as usual, it was warm(85*) at 10am by the time we reached the saddle and Weavers.

Thank goodness a minor breeze followed us along the way.

Overall, we enjoyed this hike and can't wait for the next challenge!
