|Peak Summited||Mount Washington|
|Trailhead||Ammonoosuc ravine trail|
For my first summit on the challenge, I decided to hike Mt. Washington. This is the highest peak in New England and it's known for its dangerous weather. The highest wind speed recorded by men was recorded on the top of Mt. Washington and it was 231 mph. On January 6 this year Mt. Washington was second coldest place on earth with -36 degrees Fahrenheit, so all this tells how dangerous and unpredictable this mountain can be. But, on the other hand, this hike offers great views and challenging trails.
I started my hike at Ammonoosuc Ravine trailhead at the base of Mt. Washington. Alon
