Well, this was a special hike because we had both done it before, but not in the dark.  And seeing the sunrise with less than 20 people at the top was magnificent and chilly and humbling as there were lots of young people with hardly any clothes on.  We were huddled against the rock with several layers each.

It was also unique to follow the trail without people to follow.  The trail is usually FULL of people, and there was literally no one in sight on the way up and only a few on the way down.

It's a hard hike, but not insurmountable.  And somewhat mind-boggling as you can't actually see the top until you're there.

Great hike.  Every time.
