Energy to burn

Early start to the day, at trailhead 7:30 and the parking lot was 95% full. This was my first time to peralta trailhead, it is a very good maintained trail. Was doing a leap frog with a group of young adult men, however after after the third break they had, never seen them again. With reaching the saddle in just over an hour, decided to continue fiend the trail to weaver needle. Lots of damage due to last summer fires, stop at the crosscut trail at weavers needle and returned the same route.
