Weather was windy and partly cloudy, though we had sun on us for a bit while going up the steepest part of the trail before Mount Sizer. There were some trees that had fallen over the trail after Mount Sier on the ridge, but they were easy to get around.

My girlfriend and I did Mt. Umunhum in the morning and drove out to do this loop for the afternoon. We knew it would be a long day and quite difficult but even so we didn't anticipate how steep the gains and losses in elevation are at certain sections of this loop. I was pretty sore and “over it” at about 3 miles to finish. Sure was a difficult day, but a great one!
