I feel like I owe a lot of you a beer, at a minimum. I’ve read logs of people that have hiked Picacho and Wasson on the same day. My hat is off to you and I hope you treated yourself to all the things after. I did Picacho Friday and Wasson Saturday and my calves are in knots. That could be because I opted to head straight to town after the hike and eat Enchiladas at El Charro instead of stretch. Even as I’m suffereing the consequences of my choices I don’t regret them.

The trail was rocky. For someone with a bum wheel it was tough to maintain steady footing but it was worth it. The wildflowers were stunning. The views were gorgeous.
