I grew up in the Almaden Valley and was excited to go to Mt. Umunhum! The trails are beautiful, well maintained and well marked (and brand new!). The climb was gradual and the view at the top was fantastic. Be sure to arrive early for parking. It is very limited and by the time we were leaving at noon, the parking was full and several people were waiting for our spot!
