Ok, so, let me just say that my brother and I hit Wasson Peak in the morning, then we eventually made our way up to the Superstitions to tackle Fremont, before sunset.

I wasn’t expecting the trail to start-off in a jungle, on the way up, but it was very lush along the wash segment. The bugs were definitely out, too. Once we made it above the foliage, the bugs weren’t as bad. We hoofed it, trying to get to the saddle under sunlight, and we just made it. It was picturesque, to say the least, but it was short-lived, as we wanted as much natural light as we could get, on the way down. We had to break-out the headlamps, and once back in the jungle, the bugs were absolutely horrible. Moths love headlamps. Who knew!? lol
