Heard the creek the whole first mile. Started late 1:30 pm, so 80% of the time I was in the shade, I did get a little chilled. Perfect weather 53°. Reached the summit at mile 2.40, (where I took selfie) noticed the trail continued down and left from summit. Beautiful hike.
