Started at 8:15, back to the truck by 11:00am. Beautiful blue sky, not too crowded. The trail is steep, rugged, and technical. Much of the second half is rocky terrain requiring ascension via cables (gloves recommended if you have sensitive hands; I did just fine without). It's a $7 entrance fee to the state park, made worth it by towering rock geometry and saguaros as far as the eye can see. If you want to feel like a kid on a playground again, this climb is for you!
