Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

I’m doing this challenge with my 9 year old and this was our very first hike of the challenge. We arrived at around 830 am to a lonely and rainy parking lot. We waited about 30 min for the rain to stop and started on our way.
Despite the rain, the trail was not too muddy or slippery. There was a few patches of snow on some parts of the trail which made the trail extremely narrow and slippery. Other than that it was a beautiful hike. The last mile or so to the top was fairly steep with some rock climbing but doable.
