We were cutting it close and needed to tackle the last hike of the challenge. We jumped in the car before the sun came up and headed to Tucson. From Phoenix.
We started at 7am and the weather was beautiful. After about 2 hours it was HOT! Thankfully we printed out trail directions or we would have been lost in the sun!
The trail was a steady climb. It wasn’t bad but the heat made it harder than I think it would have been a month ago.
There were beautiful birds, lots of lizards and only a few people along the trail. Meet finished and made it back to Phoenix before 1pm.
We finished!!!!
