After Picacho Peak I stopped at Funny Foot Farm over in Tuscon and spent some time with capybaras, which was a pretty relaxing break between hikes. Then I zipped over to the King Canyon TH to start up Wasson Peak. First time at Saguaro National Park, what an amazing place. Took King Canyon Trail up to the summit, then down the other side and along Gould Mine Trail back to the parking lot… worth the extra mile of hiking to make the loop, there were some really awesome cactus groves on the way down and the mine was neat to see. Parking lots were crowded but there were a few spots open when I started and finished. Loved this hike, mellow with great views the whole time.
