Hike Log

Wasson Peak with snow

Trailhead:

King Canyon

Type of Hike:

Day hike

Trail Conditions:

Trail in good condition

ROAD:

Road suitable for all vehicles

Bugs:

No bugs

Snow:

Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

There was a bit of snow on the north facing slopes above 4,000 ft., but hardly any on the trail itself. Saguaro Natl. Park is gorgeous. There were few other hikers on the trail, which is a gradual climb over several miles. A nice hike for sure. At lower elevations it was nice in the sun, allowing me to linger and sketch the saguaros.
