    I hiked this one in mid May 2007 and it was amazing. It helped that we requested an early season permit. There was some snow but nothing we couldn't handle. Wishing you luck on the permit.

    Here in Colorado the winter has been strong with a good amount of snow making it tough to do hiking. I've been going on walks instead. Is that acceptable until trail conditions improve?
